How to Follow Up on an Interview
Upon your return home from the interview, email them thanking them for their time and reiterate your interest.
The subject line could be something like: "Thanks for Meeting with Me" or "Following our meeting".
Keep it reasonably short - a few paragraphs detailing why you are keen and re-emphasising your strengths and ability to succeed in the role.

If you haven’t heard anything back after 48 hours (and the interview wasn’t arranged through a recruitment agency like Aaron Wallis), call them to ascertain if they need any further information and use it as an opportunity to close for the next stage of the recruitment process.
If you find that you were not successful in receiving a job offer, do not be afraid to ask for interview feedback. It may be that there is a flaw in your interview technique which can easily be improved upon for the next one.
